Bauma CONEXPO India 2025

India Expo Centre, Greater Noida  ·  2025

BOS returned to Bauma CONEXPO India in 2025 with a more advanced story to tell. Two years on from our debut at the same venue, the focus had shifted from introducing on-site machining to the market to demonstrating how intelligent automation was reshaping what field repair could deliver. The 2025 edition was our strongest Bauma showing yet — and the conversations on the floor reflected a market that was ready to move.

Bauma CONEXPO India 2025 reinforced a pattern BOS had observed since 2023: the Indian construction and mining industry is increasingly sophisticated in its approach to equipment maintenance. Fleet owners are tracking repair costs per machine-hour, OEM warranty teams are demanding documented bore quality standards, and rental operators are building service capability in-house to reduce dependency on third-party workshops. BOS sits at the intersection of all three trends.

BOS-DS50 with Upgraded Intelligent Control

Latest-generation DS50 with enhanced servo drive response and improved HMI — demonstrated bore and weld sequences live on the stand.

BOS-DS60 Heavy-Duty Boring & Welding

Full range demo for large excavator and crane boom pin bores — showcasing 65–600mm capability in a compact field-deployable package.

Intelligent Welding Mode Demonstration

Showcased automated weld parameter selection — the system selects optimal arc voltage, wire feed, and rotation speed based on bore diameter and material input.

Servo Drive System Walkthrough

Hands-on demonstration of servo-controlled boring bar motion — showing how consistent feed rate eliminates taper and out-of-round results.

Repeatability & Quality Documentation

Presented BOS's quality output data — bore roundness, surface finish, and concentricity results across field repair jobs — as a counterpoint to the "field repair vs workshop" debate.

Key Highlights

The automation narrative landed with exceptional clarity at Bauma 2025. Where in 2023 many visitors needed to be convinced that field boring could match workshop quality, in 2025 the conversation had moved on to how much faster, more consistent, and more economical BOS machines were compared to alternatives. The market's baseline of understanding had risen significantly, and BOS's product evolution matched it step for step.

The intelligent welding mode demonstration was particularly well-received by OEM service teams and large fleet maintenance managers. The ability to dial in bore specifications and have the machine manage welding parameters automatically eliminates the single biggest variable in bore repair outcomes: operator-to-operator consistency. For fleet operations managing machines across multiple sites and multiple technicians, this is not a nice-to-have — it is a quality assurance requirement.

Partnership conversations were a central theme of Bauma 2025. Regional distributors, machine dealers, and construction equipment rental companies from across North and West India engaged in substantive conversations about becoming authorised BOS partners — stocking machines, providing training, and delivering first-line service support to end customers in their territories.

Who We Met

The Bauma 2025 visitor profile reflected the growing maturity of the on-site repair market in India. Senior maintenance engineers from large EPC contractors — handling infrastructure projects worth thousands of crores — engaged on implementing BOS as a standardised site repair solution across multi-project operations. The conversation was about procurement frameworks, operator training programmes, and machine tracking, not just individual machine purchases.

Dealer partners and distributors from Rajasthan, UP, MP, Gujarat, and Maharashtra held detailed conversations about regional dealership structures. The interest in BOS as a portfolio product — rather than just a one-off equipment purchase — signals a commercial maturity that reflects the brand's reputation built over two years of field deployment across India.

International visitors and buyers also featured prominently at the BOS stand — representatives from Middle East construction markets, East African mining operations, and South East Asian equipment service companies — reinforcing BOS's growing export ambitions.

Why It Mattered for BOS

Bauma CONEXPO India 2025 marked BOS's transition from an emerging player to an established presence in the portable machining market. The 2023 show was about introducing the product; 2025 was about deepening relationships, presenting a more evolved technology story, and building the commercial infrastructure — dealer networks and regional partnerships — that would scale BOS's reach beyond direct sales.

The automation and repeatability focus also positioned the DS50 and DS60 as solutions to a problem that is only growing in strategic importance: how do large fleet operators maintain quality standards in bore repair across distributed field operations where you cannot guarantee a highly experienced operator at every site? BOS's intelligent control answers this directly.

The regional partnership conversations initiated at Bauma 2025 form a core part of BOS's expansion strategy through 2025 and beyond — extending the brand's reach into markets that would be difficult to serve from Udaipur and Bangalore alone.
